In 2021, Casper Electric completed construction of two aquatics facilities in Casper, Wyoming. The YMCA Pool consisted of an addition to the Casper Family YMCA to incorporate aquatics into the programs at their new facility. The addition included a family pool, lap pool and whirlpool, along with an associated family locker room. Also included in this addition were pool viewing and child watch areas, a large multi-purpose room and a new member lounge.
The Natrona County High School Pool consisted of a natatorium addition to the existing Mustang Activities Center (MAC). This addition included a competition swimming pool with electronic timing system, a “wet” classroom, locker rooms and coaches’ offices. A mezzanine was incorporated to provides elevated spectator seating, public restrooms, a timer room and a large warmup area. The pool addition was eventually connected to the high school with an overhead walkway, and the school’s fire alarm, intercom and voice/data networks were extended into the facility. The project also included a distributed audio system for music and public address.
